I am the owner of a broken mind
A mind like no other
like a million minds alike
A mind mighty and beautiful
Seated lofty and high
with no domains to rule but its own
Searching, inquiring, perceiving
With more questions than answers
With more chaos than order
In a world of absolutes and certainties and dark
I am the owner of a beautiful mind
Not toppled by its raging seas
Just broken but together
Often fooled by the mirage perfection of its thoughts
And confused by the onslaught of its drowning noise
My mind remains standing like a ruler sword in hand
For it is the destiny of minds like mine to fight
